Description of Practice:

Mr. Corn represents plaintiffs and defendants in complex business, tort and estate litigation.  His experience includes:

  • general business and commercial litigation, including class action, contract, fraud, RICO, deceptive trade practices, collection, usury, secured transaction, construction, franchisee/franchisor, manufacturer/distributor, and interference with contracts or business relations litigation;

  • state and federal securities law claims, including customer/broker, class/underwriter, limited partner/general partner or lender actions, control person liability claims, short swing profit actions, derivative suits, investment banking controversies, and Securities and Exchange Commission actions and investigations;

  • intellectual property and employment litigation involving trade secrets, unfair competition, non-competition agreements, confidentiality agreements, and copyrights;

  • general negligence, premises and product liability litigation;

  • environmental litigation;

  • OSHA litigation;

  • professional negligence litigation, including legal, accounting, and psychiatric malpractice claims;

  • insurance coverage, including environmental and bad faith claims;

  • fiduciary litigation, including will contests and suits by and against executors, administrators, guardians, and trustees;

  • real estate litigation, including foreclosure, forcible detainer, landlord-tenant, and easement litigation; and

  • extraordinary remedies litigation, including injunctions, receiverships, sequestrations, garnishments, and attachments.
